The Late Bird Gets the Worm
A group of robins gathered to watch a worm wiggle and squirm amongst the leaves. No robin in the bunch dare approach as none had seen such a sight. This worm seemed different, it had no fear of the robins and even teased them with its moves. Just then another robin arrived and said “what's with all the commotion, why is no one eating the worm”. “Well look at it, it dances to mock us and doesn't dig in the soil like all the other worms” one replied. “I cant be bothered with that” said the late bird, “I'm hungry and you are all cowards”. “Haven't you heard the story of the early bird” said the confident late arrival as it approached the worm. Suddenly a voice hissed out “I ate all the early ones and now I'm hunting the fools”. And with a quick thrash of the leaves a snake sprung out and swallowed the foolish late bird whole. Moral don't confuse an empty stomach and an empty mind
